Helen is trained as a community psychologist and is currently employed as the National General Manager Māori Research for Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) and Te Aka Whai Ora (the Māori Health Authority). She is a co-lead in the Rakeiora Project and has an interest in mātauranga and tikanga Māori underpinning health research and health systems.
